INGREDIENTS REQUIRED

8 pavs
1 cup grated cauliflower
1 medium green capsicum, chopped
1/4 cup green peas
3-4 medium potatoes, boiled and peeled
2 tablespoons pav bhaji masala + for sprinkling 4 tablespoons butter + for roasting
2 medium onions, chopped
1 tablespoon ginger paste
1 tablespoon garlic paste
4 medium tomatoes, chopped
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon red chilli paste
1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves + for sprinkling

METHOD OR PREPARATION

1. Take non stick pan & Heat 3 tablespoons butter in a non-stick pan. Add onion, mix and saute for a minute properly.


2. Then add ginger garlic paste, mix and saute well.



3. Now add chopped tomatoes, mix nicely and add some salt, red chilli paste for proper red colour of pav bhaji, mix and cook at low heat for 5-7 minutes properly.






4. After cooking for 5-7 minutes add grated cauliflower, chopped capsicum and green peas and mix well gently. Now add pav bhaji masala and mix well. Lower the heat & add some water, cover and cook till all vegetables which we have added cooked properly.










5. Mash boiled potatoes and add along with chopped coriander. Mash well with a masher.






6. Add some little water, mix, cover and cook for 5-7 minutes more. & Bhaji is ready.



7. Now Slit or half the pavs and apply butter on them.



8. Heat 1 tablespoon butter on a non-stick tawa, sprinkle some chopped coriander and sprinkle pav bhaji masala on it, place the pavs and roast them from both sides completely. & Set them aside.



9. Transfer the bhaji in a serving bowl and garnish with a coriander sprig. Place the bowl on a serving platter and serve immediately with roasted pavs, chopped onion and lemon wedges.
Preparation Time: 10-15 minutes Cooking Time: 25-30 minutes
