INGREDIENTS REQUIRED


10 Almonds
4-5 Cloves
5 seeds of Green Cardamom
1/2 inch Cinnamon
10 Black Peppercorns
Seeds of 1 Black Cardamom
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
1 tbsp Poppy Seeds
1/2 kg mutton (Boneless)
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
2 tbsp of Red Chilli Powder
Salt
1 tsp Ginger Paste (heaped)
1 tsp Garlic Paste (heaped)
1/2 Cup of Oil
1 tbsp Coriander Seed Powder
1/2 Yogurt (Beaten)
1/2 Cup Water
1 Cup fried Onions
1/2 Cup Water


METHOD OF PREPARATION


1. First take a pan & roast some 10 almonds, add 4-5 Cloves , with 5 green cardamom , 1/2 inch Cinnamon, 10 Black Peppercorns then add seeds of 1 Black Cardamom & 1tsp of cumin seeds & roast all these ingredients on low flame till it leaves its aroma & then switch off the flame & add Poppy seeds to the mix.






2. Now grind all this roasted mixture in the grinder to make the powder or garam Masala. Then add your garam masala or prepared mixture to the 1/2kg boneless Mutton add 1/2tsp Turmeric powder, 2tbsp Red Chilli powder with some Salt to taste.







3. Now add 1 heaped tsp of Ginger paste and Garlic Paste mix or massage them properly to coat the mutton pieces & then Marination for 1 hour in Refrigerator.




4.  Take a pressure cooker & add 1/2 cup of oil to the heated pressure cooker, when the oil get hot add the marinated meat in the cooker for 4 to 5 Minutes. Add some 1tbsp Coriander seed powder, cook the meat for 4 to 5 minutes with high flame.




5. Now reduce the flame & 1/2 cup of beaten yogurt in the mix then saute or cook it till the oil is separated then add 1/2 cup of water.



6. Finally pressure cook the meat for 3 whistle for 5-10 minutes.

7. Now after pressure cooking open the pressure cooker & then take fried Onions and grind them in the grinder without any water & add the same to the cury or pressure cooked mutton in the pressure cooker with some water and boil it for another fIve minutes.
