For Homemade Recipe of Khichdi
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED

1tbsp Ghee
1tsp Cumin Seeds
1/4 tsp Asafoetida
1-2 Chopped Green Chillies
1.5 tbsps Garlic
1 chopped Onion
1 chopped Tomatoe
Salt to Taste
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1.5 cups boiled split skinless green gram
1 cup of water
1.5 cups boiled Basmati Rice
1 tbsp Chopped Coriander Leaves
Coriander Sprig
METHOD OF PREPARATION

1. Take a non stick pan, switch the flame on and then add 1tbsp Ghee, 1tsp Cumin Seeds, 1/4 tsp Asafoetida.


2. Now add 1-2 Chopped Green Chillies, 1.5 tbsps Garlic and then saute it for 1 minute.



3. Now add 1 chopped Onion, 1 chopped Tomatoe and mix it well and then add Salt to Taste and then add 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder, 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder and cook this for 2-3 minutes.







4. Now add 1.5 cups boiled split skinless green gram and then mix it well and then add 1 cup of water to it and again mix it properly and then cook it for 2-3 minutes again.




5. Now add 1.5 cups boiled Basmati Rice and mix it properly again and again cook it for 2-3 minutes.


6. Now add 1 tbsp Chopped Coriander Leaves and mix it well.


7. Finally our Homemade Khichdi Recipe is ready to serve and garnish it with some ghee and Coriander Sprig from top and enjoy this Khichdi Recipe.
