How to make Irani Chai at Home

For Homemade Irani Chai Recipe
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED

6 cups(1.5liter) Water
6tbsp Tea Leaves{Buy Now}
6tbsp Sugar
2.5 Cups(600ml) Milk
4tbsp Condensed Milk{Buy Now}
2-3 pods Cardamom


METHOD OF PREPARATION

1. For Irani Chai, First Take a pot as shown in picture and then add 6 cups of Water to it , with this water 4-6 cups will irani chai will prepare and then add 6tbsp Tea Leaves.





2. Now add 6tbsp Sugar to it and if you want to add jaggery you can also add that, then placing the dough to the corner of the pot as done in picture and place the lid on it and then press or apply some weight on it with your hands, this will ensure that no more steam will escape from it and then add pestle Morter on it for weight you can use any utensil for weight and then let it cook for 35-40 minutes for high heat.










3. Now take another non stick pan and then add 2.5 cups of full fat Milk to it and then add 2-3 Cardmom.



4. Now add 4tbsp of Condensed Milk to the milk and then cook the milk for 10-15 minutes at medium flame,this will ensure that the milk will be very nice thick and creamy texture and make sure that it doesn't stick to the pan and when the milk get's boil then lower the flame and after getting thick texture switch off the flame.







5. Now take the pot and open it by using knife to cut the dough and open this pot , be careful while opening this pot because it contains steam which will come out.





6. Now take a serving cup and take lid of full irani chai and then strain it , it is about 1/4th cup of this strained prepared irani chai as shown in picture and then add 1 fill lid of prepared milk on its top as shown in picture.




7. Finally our Homemade Irani Chai Recipe is ready to serve hot with biscuits.
