How to make Phirni at Home

For Homemade Phirni Recipe
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED

1/2 cup of long grained rice
1 cup of Sugar
1 litre of Milk
2-3 pinch of Grounded Green Cardamom
Dry Rose Petals{Buy Now}
Finely Chopped Pistachios
Finely Chopped Almonds
Saffron Strands{Buy Now}


METHOD OF PREPARATION

1. First Soak the 1/2 cup of long grained rice and later grind it into the coarse mixture with the help of grinder as shown in picture.



2. Now take a wok and then add this coarse grinded mixture and then also add 1 cup of Sugar, 1 litre of milk and switch on the flame and continuously stirring it till the sugar, milk and rice completely mixed well and we have to cook this till the milk is reduced to the half of it's quantity.






3. Now add 2-3 pinch of Grounded Green Cardamom and stirring it well properly and switch of the flame.







4. Now pour this Phirni into the mud pots which is called the shakoora ,so that it remains nice form and soft to taste or if you don't have this type of mud pot you can also use glass bowl also.



5. Now garnish it with some lovely dried Rose Petals and also garnish it with some finely chopped pistachios as well as with finely chopped Almonds and Finely put a few strands of saffron and place this into the Refrigerator for cooling for about 1-1.5 hours.
