For Homemade Sarson Da Saag Recipe
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED

1kg Fresh Mustard Leaves (Sarson ke Patte)
200gm Fresh Spinach Leaves (Palak)
100gm Bathua/Chenopodium Album
Salt to Taste
2 Medium Onions
2inch Ginger
8-10 Garlic Cloves
4tbsps Ghee
2tbsp Cornmeal(Makki ka Atta)

METHOD OF PREPARATION

1. Take washed and cleaned 1kg  Mustard Leaves, 200gm Spinach Leaves, 100gm Bathua and Chopped it well and remove the stalks from it.








2. Now Heat the 1/4 cup of water in a non stick pan then add the chopped leaves into it and add a little amount of Salt and let them cook and mixing it well and when it water gets reduced then add little amount of water (near about 1/4 cup) and blend it with electric Hand Blender as shown in picture.








3. Now chopped the 2 medium Onions, 2inch Ginger, 8-10 Garlic Cloves and also chopped the 3-4 Green Chillies and Now take non stick pan and then add 3tbsp Ghee and heat it and when it gets hot then add chopped onions, garlic and ginger and cook or saute it till light brown colour appears in Onions and then add the chopped green chillies and mix it well and cook.


4. Now add the prepared saag to it and mix it well properly and then add 2tbsp Cornmeal to it and mix it well and this cornmeal provides the thickened texture to this saag and then add 1tbsp Ghee to it.





5. Now Finally our Homemade Sarson Da Saag Recipe is ready to serve with Makki Di Roti and also Garnish this Sarson Da Saag with Makhan.
