For Homemade Butterscotch Sauce Recipe

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED

200g Sugar/Brown Sugar
60g of Butter
Salt to Taste
Mixture of Cream and Milk(200ml Cream + 100ml Milk)


METHOD OF PREPARATION

1. Take sauce pan, heat it and then add 200g of Sugar to it and continuously stirring it and melt it or caramelizes it and then it will be golden in colour.






2. Now switch off the flame and add 60g of Butter.


3. Now add Salt to Taste and stirr this properly.


4. Take a mixture of milk and cream as shown in picture, to make this mixture take 200ml of Cream and 100ml of Milk and mix it to make this mixture and then add it to the caramelizes mixture and switch on the flame and continuously stirring it.





5. Keep adding the mixture of milk and cream interval of time and stirring it continuously and make sure that there is no any kind of lumps in it and when it all gets dissolved or mix properly then little bit simmer it and then switch off the flame and keep it at room temperature so that it cooled down.
Note :- I am making this Butterscotch Sauce Recipe with white sugar but you can also make this butterscotch sauce with brown sugar, I didn't use brown sugar because it gives strong flavour and usually Butterscotch Sauce is made with Brown Sugar.





6. Finally our Homemade Butterscotch Sauce Recipe is ready to serve with Ice Cream, Milkshakes etc.
