540g of Bread Flour

12g of Kosher salt

7g of instant dry yeast

8g of improved texture and flavour

120g of Whole Milk

145g of Warm Water

1 whole beaten egg about 60g

50g of Vegetable or Canola Oil

METHOD OF PREPARATION 


1. For Hoagie Rolls Recipe :- In the bowl of stand mixer add 540g of Bread Flour, 12g of Kosher salt, 7g of instant dry yeast and 8g of improved texture and flavour, tiny whisk until homogeneous.

2. Now add 120g of Whole Milk, 145g of Warm Water, Both heated to about 110°F and then add 1 whole beaten egg about 60g.


3. Then add 50g of Vegetable or Canola Oil and fix the dough hook, drop it down and let it knead it on medium low speed for about 8 to 12 minutes, we want really robust gluten development so that our bread has a nice chew to it.

We don't want it to be too soft or caky.


4. After complete kneading, stretch into a smooth taut ball and drop into a lightly greased bowl and cover it tightly with plastic wrap and let it rest at room temperature for at least one hour or upto two hour.

We want it to double in size by resting it.


5. Give the bottom of your bowl a nice tickle, punch it down until you have knocked out the air and then so we end up with four consistent hoagie. 


6. Weigh the whole batch of dough and divide it into four using math. Cut it into four vaguely rectangular pieces, press and stretch into less vaguely rectangular pieces. 

9 or 10 inches wide and about 6 inches long.


7. Then like mostly enriched bread, Roll and pinch it into a niche tight log, which we are gonna thoroughly pinch shut to make sure that there is no seam that can split open in the oven or during the rising process.

13. Bake for 10-14 minutes rotating halfway through until they are puffed brown and their thickest point registers 190°F. 


14. Allow it to cool at least for about 2 hours and in the mean time, do finely shredded iceberg lettuce, relatively short shredded too.


15. Now few slices of beefsteak tomato and 1/2 small chopped onion and saute with the beef.


16. For Chopped Cheese Recipe, Chopped Cheese is usually made on a flat cast iron skillet. Grease it with little vegetable oil and heat over medium high or until just starting to smoke.


17. Now place hamburger patties and use third pounders and then add chopped onions, we are gonna let everything sit for about 3 minutes.

It should not take more than 2 or more minutes.


20. Organize the beef and onions into a long pile in the centre of the skillet, because it is time for this sandwich.


21. Now add 3 slices of yellow american singles cheese on it and let it melt completely and let the beef get a little crusty on the bottom and it is ready for further step and switch off the flame.


22. I highly recommend you lightly toasting your hoagie first and grab your very longest spatula because ideally you wanna try to get all the beef and cheese in one time.


23. Top it up with the sliced tomato, chopped lettuce and then standard condiments are healthy squirt of ketchup and mayonnaise and folks, that's about it.

The hardest part of this Sandwich is topping it up and trying to keep it all in one piece and fitting it in your mouth.
