How to make a Reese Cake








1 5.9 oz box instant chocolate pudding (Large Box)

1 cup vegetable oil 

1 cup sour cream

1 devil's food chocolate cake mix

4 large eggs

1/2 cup warm water

2 cups chocolate chips

For Peanut Butter Frosting

2 cups creamy peanut butter

4 sticks softened salted butter

6 cups Powdered sugar

2 tsps vanilla

4-5 tbsp milk

6 cups powdered sugar

For Chocolate Ganache

1/3 cup Hot heavy whipping cream

1/2 cup chocolate chips


1. Take big mixing bowl, add 1 5.9 oz box  of Instant chocolate pudding, 1 devils food chocolate cake mix.

2. Add 1/2 cup warm water, 1 cup vegetable oil, 4 large beaten eggs, 1 cup sour cream, beat it with electric beater.

3. Then add 2 cups of chocolate chips and mix it with the spatula.

4. Preheat oven to 350°F, Coat or Spray the three or four 8 or 9 inch baking pans with cooking spray and add or divide batter amomg pans, bake at 350°F for 25 to 35 min or until wooden toothpick comes out clean, cool it completely.

5. For Peanut Butter Frosting Recipe, take another mixing bowl, add 2 cups creamy peanut butter, 4 sticks softened salted butter and beat it with electric beater.

6. Add 2 tsps vanilla, beat it again, now gradually add Powdered sugar alternately with milk, remember to mix up from the bottom,

Our peanut butter frosting is ready.

7. Now spread this Frosting over cooled cake, then place the another part of cake over it and again spread this Frosting over it, Similarly place the 3rd one cooled cake on it and spread the frosting over it,

Cover all the sides with frosting, and level it evenly.

8. Then place it in refrigerate for chilling.

9. For Ganache Recipe, Pour 1/3 cup Hot heavy whipping cream over the 1/2 cup chocolate chips, allow it to sit for 2 minutes, whisk the mixture until smooth, 

if the chips don't dissolve completely, you can microwave at half power for 15 minutes intervals and stir until smooth.

If the ganache seems too runny, you can let it cool for about 10 minutes before pouring over chilled cake, allow to run over the edges of the cake.

10. Finally our Homemade Reese Cake Recipe is ready to serve, top it with leftover peanut butter Frosting as swirls with leaving enough space to prop a Reese's cup between each swirl and also sprinkle some reese's pieces in the middle.
