For Homemade Besan Barfi Recipe
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED
400gm Besan(Gram Flour)
250gm Ghee
320gm Sugar
200gm Mawa(Khoa)
Water as required
1tsp Cardamom powder
A pinch of Saffron food colour{Buy Now}
3-4tbsp Chopped Almonds
2tbsp chopped Pistachio
3-4 Chandi Vark Leaf(Silver Leaf){Buy Now}

METHOD OF PREPARATION
1. Take a iron wok(kadai), heat it and then add 250gm Ghee to it, 400gm Gram Flour (Besan) and roast this by continuously stirring it at medium flame.
1. Take a iron wok(kadai), heat it and then add 250gm Ghee to it, 400gm Gram Flour (Besan) and roast this by continuously stirring it at medium flame.
2. Now continuously stirring this besan, at the first stage it will be hard in texture so continuously mixing it and now you can see by continuously mixing it will become soft in texture and easy to stirring and roast this till light brown colour appears, it will take 15-20 minutes more and make sure that it doesn't burn so continuously mixing or stirring it and now you can see the texture of besan is now thin in texture and now switch off the flame.
3. Now add the 200gm of Mawa to it and mixing it continuously for 2minutes and then again roast this 2-3 minute, means you have to totally roast this for 5 minutes at medium to low flame.
4. Now add 3-4tbsp chopped Almonds, 3-4tbsp chopped Pistachio, 1tsp Cardamom Powder and mix this properly and now switch off the flame.
5. For Chashni(Sugar Syrup), Now take bowl and then add 320gm Sugar, 1 cup of Water and then add a pinch of Kesar(Saffron) yellow colour and then cook this at medium high flame and make 2 taar chashni.
6. To check the sugar syrup (chashni) is ready, take a small bowl of normal water and then add 2 drops of sugar syrup to this and if it stick to the bottom surface of the bowl of water then it's mean, this is ready and switch off the flame of this Sugar Syrup.
8. Now take a tray on which ghee is applied and then add this prepared besan in it and spread this evenly with the help of spoon as shown in picture and garnish it with chopped almonds, pistachios and Silver Wark on it and keep it aside for 1 hour to that it sets properly.

9. Finally our Homemade Besan Barfi Recipe is ready to serve and Sliced this into the square shapes with the help of knife.
