This is so easy, simple as well as yummy Homemade Mango Burfi Recipe. In India it is famous in every Festival,  it is also known as mithai or indian sweet dish.


How to make Mango Barfi at home



INGREDIENTS REQUIRED 


1 tsp Clarified Butter

25-30 Cashew nut

15-20 Almonds

1 cup Mango Pulp

1/3 cup Sugar

1/3 cup Milk Powder

1/3 cup Desiccated Coconut

1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder

Silver leaves/vark



METHOD OF PREPARATION 


1. Take a pan and then add 1 tsp Clarified Butter to it and then let it melt.




2. Now add 25-30 Cashew nut and 15-20 Almonds to it.





3. Then fry this for 5-7 minutes at medium flame and make sure that stirring it continuously. You can also add dry fruit of your own choice.




4. After 5-7 minutes take it out in a bowl and let it bit cool and then grind it into the grinder jar and Don't make this fine powder while grinding.






5. Now take it out in a bowl and keep it aside for further use.




6. For Mango Barfi,  Take a pan and then add 1 cup Mango Pulp to it, for mango pulp take pulp sweet mango, peel and grind it.

Now put it into the pan.

Note :- If the mango has threads, then strain the mango pulp nicely. 




7. Switch the flame on medium and stirr this and then add 1/3 cup Sugar to this and keep it stirring constantly and cook it until setting consistency as shown in picture. 






8. After attaining thick consistency as shown in image below then add 1/3 cup Milk Powder, 1/3 cup Desiccated Coconut

If you have not dessicated coconut then you can also use grated dry coconut.






9. Now add prepared cashew nuts and almond mixture that we have prepared in 5th step and also add 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder and mix it properly. 







10. Cook on medium high flame for 5-7 minutes or cook until consistency becomes thick and it is not sticking to pan and switch off the stove.




11. For set the Barfi,  Take cake tin and grease this with some ghee and line with silver foils.

If you have any utensil, line with silver foil or grease with some ghee.




12. Now transfer the mixture into this tin and spread it evenly with greased spatula. 




13. Now garnish it with silver leaves/vark, if you haven't this silver vark then you can also garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios.

14. Now refrigerate it for 1 hour so that it sets properly.
