INGREDIENTS REQUIRED

250 grams of cubed paneer, or Indian cottage cheese
1 cup of hanging curd thick yogurt
1 tablespoon paste made of ginger and garlic
One tablespoon of besan (gram flour)
One tsp cumin powder
One tsp powdered coriander
Half a teaspoon of powdered turmeric
Half a teaspoon of red chili powder, or to taste
One-half tsp garam masala powder
One tablespoon of lemon juice
Add salt to taste.
Wooden skewers should be soaked in water for half an hour before use.

METHOD OF PREPARATION

1. The thick yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, gram flour, turmeric, red chile, garam masala, cumin, coriander, lemon juice, and salt should all be combined in a big mixing basin. To make a smooth marinade, thoroughly mix.

2. When the paneer cubes are added to the marinade, gently toss them until they are thoroughly covered. To allow the flavors to merge together, cover the bowl and marinate in the fridge for at least an hour.

3. Adjust the oven temperature to 200°C (400°F) and place parchment paper on a baking pan.

4. With a little room between each piece, thread the marinated paneer cubes onto skewers.

5. After putting the skewers on the prepared baking sheet, bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the paneer is faintly charred around the edges and has turned a golden brown color.

6. Before serving, take the paneer tikka out of the oven and allow it to cool somewhat.

7. Along with chopped onions, lemon wedges, and mint chutney, serve hot paneer tikka made without oil.

This flavorful and protein-rich zero-oil paneer tikka is a great alternative for an appetiser or snack because it is low in fat. Savor the flavorful and complex spices without incorporating extra oil!
