How to make Naan at Home

For Homemade Naan Recipe
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED


3/4 cup Milk
3tbsp Oil
1tbsp Sugar
1tsp Salt
1tsp Baking Powder
2.5 cups Maida(All Purpose Flour)
Water to apply on Naan
Butter to apply on top of naans


METHOD OF PREPARATION

1. Take a big mixing bowl and then add 3/4 cup of Milk to it and then add 3tbsp Oil(Vegetable oil) and also add 1tbsp of Sugar.




2. Now add 1tsp of Salt, 1tsp Baking Powder, this baking powder will provide the softness in naan and make sure that don't use baking soda for this naan recipe and mix all these ingredients with your hands till the sugar is dissolved.




3. Now add 2.5 cups of Maida to it and mix it with your hands and also add 1/4th cup of milk and knead this to make a soft dough of this, this kneading time will be 2-3 minutes and cover the dough with the damn cloth and let it rest for 10 minutes.









4. Now divide the dough into small portion of dough , with this dough you can make 10-12 naan , it totally depends upon the size you prefer and sprinkle some dry maida on this dough portion and cover it again with damn cloth and keep it aside.




5. Now take one portion and roll it with the help of roller and you can also make this in thin sheet or thick size which depends upon on you and take little bit of water with your hands and spread on the naan as shown in picture.






6. Now take the iron tawa which is very hot and don't use non stick tawa for this and then place the prepare dough naan on it and cook it on high flame and remember kulcha are cooked in low flame and naan is cooked on high flame.


7. After the 30second cooking this naan from one side and then flip the tawa and then cook it on direct flame and when it looks brown by cooking as shown in picture then tale it out and make similarly more naan by this and if the naan while cooking puff as shown in picture then make a hole and cook it.







8. Finally our Homemade Naan Recipe is ready to serve and Now apply some butter on it and serve it with your favourite Sabji (dish).
