For Homemade Amla Achar Recipe or Amla Pickle Recipe
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED
15-18 Indian Gooseberries (Amla)
Salt to Taste
3/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
4 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Fenugreek Seeds(Methi Dana)
5-6 Green Chillies
2 inch Ginger, Peeled and Sliced
1 tbsp Fennel Seeds(Saunf)
1 tbsp Mustard Powder
1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
2-3 tbsps Grated Jaggery
3/4 cup Vinegar
2 tsps Onion Seeds

METHOD OF PREPARATION
1. Take a non stick pan then add 15-18 Gooseberries (Amla) to it and boil it along with Salt as well as 1/4tsp Turmeric, sufficient amount of water till it soft.
1. Take a non stick pan then add 15-18 Gooseberries (Amla) to it and boil it along with Salt as well as 1/4tsp Turmeric, sufficient amount of water till it soft.
3. Take a Blender Jar then add 5-6 Green Chillies, 2inch Ginger(Peeled and sliced) and some amount of boiled amla to it and some amount of water and blend it to make it into smooth paste.
4. Now add 4tbsp Oil to the non stick pan and heat it and when this oil get's hot then add 1tsp Fenugreek Seeds to it, 1tbsp Fennel Seeds and prepared paste to it and then add 3/4tsp Turmeric Powder then mix it well properly and cook it till the mixture is lightly browned.
5. Now add 1tbsp Mustard Powder, 1tbsp Red Chilli Powder, Boiled Amla(Gooseberries), 2-3 tbsp Grated Jaggery, Salt to Taste, 1/2 cup Vinegar and mix all these ingredients properly and then add 2tsp Onion Seeds and mix all these properly.
6. Now Finally our Homemade Amla Pickle Recipe is ready to serve and add these prepared Homemade Amla Achar Recipe into the air tight container.
