1. Wash the potatoes and then dry them off with the help of paper towel.
2. Now pierce the sweet potato skin 2 to 3 times with the help of fork,
It is important step because Potatoe can explode while cooking because of the steam builds up within them.
3. Then place the sweet potatoes in microwave safe plate and microwave it for about 5 minutes.
4. After this, test it with the help of fork or wooden stick, if the sweet potato feels a bit firm in the middle, then continue to microwave in 1 to 2 minutes more.
Now test it again with the wooden stick(toothpick), if the stick goes through easily then the potatoes are done.
5. But if you want that your sweet potatoes to have that crispy, place them in the preheated oven at 200°C or 390°F and bake for about 5 minutes.
Once the skin of the sweet potato looks nice and crispy, remove them from the oven.
6. Finally our Homemade Sweet Potatoes Recipe is ready to serve. Peel, cut and garnish it with some salted butter.
